Te Mata Peak rises 399 metres above the Heretaunga Plains providing stunning 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside.
Te Mata Park is set in 99 hectares and is perfect for dog walking, mountain biking, orienteering, hang gliding and picnics. With more than 200,000 visitors each year, the park hosts many outdoor supporting events.
